It was survival of the fittest tonight on DWTS as each couple has to dance 3 dances for the first time in the show's history. There was drama from the beginning as everyone wondering whether Kym Johnson would be able to perform after she suffered what appeared to be a serious neck injury in practice Friday morning. Even Hines Ward seemed visibly scared.
Ralph and Karina had trouble tonight as their Argentine tango lacked any emotional impact. Their salsa was vulgar as the two of them looked like total chongas. In the ChaCha faceoff they provided no competition for Heinz and Kym.
Kirstie and Maks were very well received by the audience and critics alike with their Viennese waltz and the Pasa Doble. They even liked her cha cha saying that it she was sensual using her voluptuous talents. The critics were harsh on Chelsea with her Argentine tango but raved about her Rhumba. Totally right.They are lucky that they won the ChaCha contest.
Clearly the night belonged to Hines and Kim as they were pure perfection in every way as they glided across the floor dancing the Argentine tango, a Salsa, and the ChaCha. One would never even know Kym was hurt.
Who's going home tomorrow? I say Ralph.
