Oprah Celebrates Her Final Season

And so it began. With cameos from very good friend John Travolta, whom Oprah dubbed her Ultimate guest, and a suprise from Don Johnson who was Oprah's original choice for first guest 25years ago Oprah began her 25th and final season. An audience of her biggest fans was gathered and then treated to an 8 day trip to Australia that will be piloted by John Travolta. It will be a season filled with memories from the past as she looks to the future. After 25 years Oprah still continues with her generosity.
The tables were turned on Oprah as her staff suprised her with a performance from Paul Simon whose album Graceland is her favorite of all time. The Oprah Show may be ending but we all have an entire new network to look forward to.

Lady Gaga Steals The Show At The VMAs

Last night Lady Gaga was the highlight at an otherwise less than exciting MTV VMA show. Decked out in in haute couture she won 8 out of her 13 awards, sometimes losing to herself. She first rocked a McQueen from his final collection wiht a mohawk like headpiece. Her second look , a black modern ballgown was so heavy that she had to helped to the stage. Gaga outdid herself in her meatpacking ensemble complete with meat purse and hat. THe most important award of the night, video of the year, was given to her by Cher, the original diva with the outrageous outfits. Cher rocked it wearing the same outfit she wore in the If I Could Turn Back Time video and got one of the only standing ovations of the night. The two legends on stage together were a gay man's wet dream. Gaga spoke up for equality in the military and gave a preview of her new song "Born this Way"
Chelsea Handler was underwhelming as the host. Usually so off color with her humor on her own show she seemed like a scrubbed up clone of herself. There was a humorous bit with Lindsay Lohan in a pretaped bit.
In an evening filled with lackluster generic lipsynced peformance FLorence and The Machine showed that there are a few stunning live performers available. Taylor Swift sang a rather blah song aboutforgiving Kanye and he made an ass of himself with his final song " Let's Toast the Douchebag"Word is her wasnted Taylor to join him but she would not.
The best dressed lady was Gaga, best dressed male Paulie D, worst dressed female Rihanna,worst dressed male Neyo, most improved Ciara, best hair Snookie, and overall best for her age Cher.

RHONJ do not dissappoint

 Pt2 of the Real Housewives of New jersey reunion is over and boy did it deliver . All of the ladies were in rare form tonight. Danielle continued her "I am an angel " act  and even Andy was not buying it. Funny how Danielle no longer talks to Kim G and her bodyguard/ buffoon Danny. The housewives were treated to a show and tell by Danielle as she brought a wig and  hair mannequin to demonstrate her losing her extensions, Didn't work  .  Kim G appeared magically siding with the Manzos on all of their claims  but there is no love lost between anyone them.  Caroline continued to speak  from her heart and is clearly the most logical of the group. Miracles happen as D anielle ,Teresa and Jaqueline apologized to each other for all that had transpired over the last year. Caroline was not buying it though.  I can't wait for season 3  to see what happens. Next stop Atlanta!

Piranha 3d smells like bad sushi

   Piranha 3d is a real stinker that needs to be fed to the fishes..  Less of a movie it is more like a soft porn video.It was like tits on parade for the  16 year old teenage boy crowd.  Poor Richard Dryfus makes a cameo in a nod to the original terror of the summer  Jaws. He must be desperate.There is a crazy storyline with a character based on Joe Francis. Oh and the piranhas in 3d, not so scary after the first killing. Let's hope the sequel already in the works will be better.
